The Roots of Orchid Nest North
Started in South Florida by owner, Lori McCoy, Team Orchid has been committed to providing professional support for pregnancy, birth and postpartum since 1999. When Elle Rebuck moved to North Florida she quickly saw the need for familial and womens pregnancy support and opened up a North Florida location. Like Lori, Elle found that many birth practices were not evidence-based and families were not being provided non-biased information and choices. Teaming with Lori to expand the Orchid Nest team and brand means being able to serve and support more families throughout Florida to continue to improve birthing and postpartum statistics.
Meet The Doula— Elle Rebuck
Elle is a certified birth doula and HypnoBirthing Instructor with over 7 years of experience. She has a passion for education during pregnancy and believes that it is a cornerstone when preparing for birth. She believes that birth can be a tremendous growth and place of healing and that all birthing families should be treated with respect and compassion. She believes in each client’s ability to make choices that are best suited for their family and will always be there to remind women they hold the power during this sacred time.

Most women are stressed on some level about giving birth. Whether it’s the fear of pain or the unknown, our culture has a deeply rooted fear of birth. We are committed to being your personal support and advocate so that you (and your partner) can relax and be present as you bring your new human into the world. We understand both physiological birth as well as medicalized high-risk situations and everything in between. Team Orchid works with clients prenatally to help them define what they want for their birth and newborn. Our goal is to never have an agenda other than YOURS, but more importantly to get you all of the information that you need to make informed decisions. That is SO key for a positive experience.
